We now have an exciting opportunity for a Groups & Events Manager for our three 4* deluxe properties in the heart of the City of London.

The person

The ideal candidate will have a strong skillset in either event management (hotels or venues) or group bookings (hotels). This role presents an ideal opportunity for someone currently working in a single property in London looking to step up to a cluster role. In addition, the successful applicant will:

  • Have outstanding people management skills, and know how to lead, manage, mentor and coach a team, as well as be familiar with the recruitment process;
  • Possess knowledge of events, with the ability to create and deliver a strategic annual plan of groups & events activities in line with business requirements as well as manage and create events packages, promos and offers;
  • Demonstrate financial & commercial awareness, with the ability to accurately forecast and budget;
  • Be able to analyse and rapidly identify strategic opportunities to improve the business;
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders to drive and implement change;
  • Be knowledgeable regarding key London clients, agents and ways of working;
  • Be able to bring a sale to closure and drive the team to do the same;
  • Have experience of Opera (preferable though not essential).
